MasonAds offers promotional support for your organization through large TV monitors distributed across campus. Any Mason organization (a Registered Student Organization or Mason department) is able to create and submit an advertisement for free? Any commercial company can take advantage of this opportunity for a small fee.

The “WE ARE MASON” program originated from a desire for the Mason community to show support and unity for George Mason University. ‘WE ARE MASON’ showcases the tradition, pride, and spirit that make us proud to be Patriots.
Spirit Fridays, observed every Friday throughout the school year, seek to promote the Mason Spirit by encouraging students to wear their Mason Gear. Patriots found guilty of not wearing Mason gear are issued Spirit Violations by the Patriot Pride Patrol.

College Colors Day is nationally organized by our partner, CLC, and was first celebrated in 2005. It always falls on the Friday before Labor Day. College Colors Day seeks to celebrate and promote the spirit that makes college traditions great, such as “back-to-school”, by encouraging students, faculty/staff, alumni, and fans to wear apparel of their favorite college throughout the day.
Trademark Licensing promotes and protects the use of George Mason University trademarks and assists in marketing the university’s brand. It utilizes the “WE ARE MASON” program to encourage school pride through wearing the Mason colors with Spirit Fridays being one of its signature campaigns.

Producing Mason gear allows you to meet a growing demand for students, employees, alumni. Affiliation with George Mason University allows you to enhance involvement and be a part of the always growing Mason Community. CLC is the licensing agent for the university. As such, CLC is responsible for administering the licensing program; including processing applications, collecting royalties and enforcing proper usage.
