shopMason represents goods and services provided at George Mason University by departments/units associated with the office of Operations and Business Services. We work with a variety of on-campus contracted partners and external businesses, as well as several different campus departments.

We provide solutions.

The mission of Operations and Business Services is to improve the quality of life on campus for all students and staff. Operations and Business Services supports the university’s strategic plan by providing innovative services and strategic business partnerships that improve value, increase student success, and enhance financial condition.

Operations and Business Services impacts the everyday life on campus by providing services administered through contracts such as dining, parking, bookstore, tech store, print and mail, and vending.  It also oversees several campus departments like Student Centers, Mason Card, Child Development Center, Public Safety and Safety and Emergency Management.  Additionally, it offers university business consulting to support projects and initiatives of the university in efforts to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
